For Carpe Diem: Back to Basics

The challenge was to write a classical haiku – OK, so this doesn’t have a cutting word or a season word, and the first and third lines aren’t interchangeable but apart from that it fits the brief!

Clouds swirl in sea foam,

Drops of sunshine ride the waves,

Heaven visits earth.
